  • End of Year Reminders:  Please make sure that your child has enough lunch money in their account for the remainder of the year - Beginning May 1, children will not be able to charge meals.  If you have any questions or need to check a balance in your child's lunch account, please call 670-5036. Please make sure that all library books are turned in by May 26.

  • New Tardy Policy

    For the safety of our students, if your student arrives at school after 7:50 (when the tardy bell rings), an adult is required to walk the child(ren) in and sign them in at the office.  Please do not drop students off to sign-in without adult supervision.

  • Reynolds High School Committee Deems 'The Kite Runner' Acceptable

    The Media/Technology Advisory Committee (MTAC) at A.C. Reynolds High School released its written findings regarding a parent’s complaint regarding the use of the book, The Kite Runner, as a supplementary text. The MTAC determined the book “possesses sufficient literary, thematic, and aesthetic merits to warrant its inclusion for study at teacher discretion.”

    Watch the May 7 Board Meeting Video

    Regular meetings of the Buncombe County Board of Education are videotaped and archived on the BCS District Website, usually available to watch the following day. They will also be shown during the following month on Education Cable Channel 188 on Charter Cable.
