Although we've gone high tech this year, the students on the CCN staff were thrilled to be able to create and offer a paper copy of the traditional senior issue to each and every student at ACRHS. Congrats to all the graduates!

The NASA RealWorld-InWorld Engineering Design Challenge, an integrated science, technology, engineering and mathematics program focused on NASA's forthcoming James Webb Space Telescope, has named the 2012-2013 first place team consisting of AC Reynolds High School junior Abigail Radford. In the picture, she is 2nd from the right, standing next to Dr. John Mather, the 2006 Nobel Prize winner in Physics.
According to U.S. News, A C Reynolds High, recipient of the U.S. News “silver” award, is ranked 5th within North Carolina, and 804th in the U.S. Way to go Rockets!

During the 2013 calendar year, the NCHSAA has planned activities and opportunities for member schools, teams, players and fans to help celebrate its Centennial Year. The NCHSAA recently kicked off the Centennial year with a 100th Year Celebration event in Chapel Hill on January 12, 2013. We will conclude the year of celebration with a Gala Celebration event on January 11, 2014 at the Cary Embassy Suites. We hope you will find time to somehow be involved in this historical year
