  • 3rd Annual Playhouse Showdown!

    The Asheville Home Builders Association is excited to join forces for the 3nd Annual Playhouse Showdown with the Buncombe County High Schools to create another real world collaborative project. Through this program, students must complete a project in a specified time period, working within specified parameters while demonstrating creativity in design and problem solving. Each school will form a team comprised of students from the departments of drafting, carpentry, interior design, and marketing to design, build and market a playhouse. New to this year’s program is a theme, “Once Upon A Time” inspired by Disney.

  • 2014 READY Accountability Background

    Thank you for choosing a public school for your child’s education, specifically AC Reynolds High School. One benefit of that choice is that you receive annual information about how your child and his or her school perform academically. In addition, the annual NC School Report Cards, typically released each fall, provide information about teacher qualifications, school safety and more. This year, for the first time, each public school will have a letter grade applied to its performance and noted on the Report Cards. (read more)

  • Renowned Puppeteer Headlines PEP Fundraiser

    The performance will take place Friday, January 23rd at 7:00 pm in the T.C. Roberson High School theater. Tickets are $8 in advance, and $10 at the door. Children under two are free.
