Ninety-eightBuncombeCounty high school students were recognized at the 2011 Top Scholars Banquet on April 19th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel inAsheville.Each year Buncombe County Schools honors the top 15 students from the senior class at each of the six traditional high schools. Students from BuncombeCountyEarly& Middle College are also honored at the event. Besides excelling academically, the majority of these students are involved in a number of extra-curricular activities, displaying a number of achievements both in and out of the classroom.
