BMP is A+!

In April of 2011, the teaching staff of BMP voted to begin the process of becoming an A+ School!  We are VERY excited about the positive changes this model will bring to our school and community.  A+ is a model of teaching that integrates the arts into the everyday teaching of other subjects.  It's more than an art project at the end of the unit or learning a song about a certain topic.  A+ uses the arts (dance/movement, drama, music, and visual arts) to teach the NC Standard Course of Study and Common Core and Essential Standards.  On October 25th, BMP will be hosting an A+ Parent Night to give you more information about A+ and showcase some of the things we will have already been working on!
