Freshmen entering Erwin High School in the fall of 2008 were the first to participate in the Erwin High School Freshman Academy, an initiative intended to reduce the number of student dropouts and improve student performance overall.  The Freshman Academy serves as a “transition program" that bridges the gap between middle school and high school by incorporating characteristics typical of both.  For more information, follow this link to view a slide show overview of the Erwin High School Freshman Academy.
