"Greetings, Early College parents. Today we distributed report cards, technology fee reminders, spring picture envelopes, and a spring festival flyer. If you received a technology fee reminder, send payment to Mrs. Jaco as soon as possible. Fees that are not paid will delay a student’s fall schedule at A-B Tech. Student picture packages must be pre-paid on Friday, see the envelope for details. A spring festival will be held this Saturday as part of the 2nd years World Change Project. Check out the pink flyer for all of the fun details and tell all of your friends! If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s grades, we encourage you to contact the teachers directly for more information.
Thank you for supporting your child and Buncombe County Early College!" Bonnie Johnston

"As our New Year begins, our first semester ends. With this in mind please take responsibility for your text books, service-learning hours, and your college class schedule found on Webadvisor. First, text books must be turned in and/or accounted for by Wednesday of this week. Mrs. Oakley will be happy to process this expectation ASAP. Secondly, service-learning hours with reflection questions are due by Friday of this week as the new semester service hours will be due starting the 14th of Jan until the end of the school year. See me with questions regarding service-learning completion. Lastly, please go to Webadvisor to know what and where your college classes will be this week. BCEC Teachers and staff are very excited to start this New Year off strong and we are working hard to serve our students to the best of our ability. Please get these three items resolved if you have not already and start off the New Year by looking into a successful future.
See you tomorrow.
Mr.Hutchman"

"Good Evening, This is Karen Morgan the school counselor at Buncombe County Early College and I want to tell you about College Night at the Asheville Mall this Thursday, Sept. 13 from 6 – 9 p.m.
Are you interested in learning about N.C. colleges and colleges from across the southeast? Do you have questions about the majors each college offers? What would you like to study and what careers interest you. Are you concerned about how much it will cost to go to a particular four year university?
If you are interested in these questions and more I encourage students and parents to attend the College Night at the Asheville Mall this week on Thursday, September 13 from 6:00 – 9:00
College Representatives from over 150 colleges want to talk with students and parents and share information and the excitement they have for their college or university. Perhaps you will discover a college you had never considered as a good match for you and your interests. It is never too early to begin planning for college so I hope you will attend College Night this Thursday, September 13 from 6 – 9 pm at the Asheville Mall.
Thank you for your time. Good Night."

"Hello Students, Mr. Hutchman here with important transportation information. Because neighborhood buses will not be running tomorrow, Tuesday the 16th, all year 1 and 2 students who plan on taking the bus must get their own transportation to and from their district high school. You will ride the BCEC bus from your district high school in the am, and be dropped off at your district high school in the afternoon.
Years 3, 4, and 5 please make sure that you leave extra early as traffic and parking will be busy.
We look forward to a great school year and seeing all of you. Thanks."
"Years 3, 4, and 5: You are required to attend College Support classes only after your first college class. If you have a College Support tomorrow, Tuesday, 16th you are not required to attend. However, College Support does count on regular attendance and you will be held accountable for each class throughout the year."
