Administrator - Larry Weigel

Larry Weigel

 Progressive Education Program Administrator

A native of California, Larry Weigel and his family moved to Asheville in 1994. He has a BA in Mathematics, an MA in Psychology, and an MSA in School Administration.  Larry has taught in Middle and High School special education classrooms for 20 years.  He taught 12 years at North Buncombe High School before becoming an Assistant Principal at TC Roberson in 2006.  Larry has been the PEP administrator since 2011.

Larry and his wife, Jayne, live in Weaverville. They have two sons – David is a post-masters student at the UNC School of the Arts Fletcher Opera Institute in Winston-Salem, and Eric is a chemistry major at Furman University.
