Academics: School Counselor

Welcome to the School Counseling Site!
Kim Sandland, Licensed School Counselor

children hugging For many years I worked in community mental health and developmental disabilities services in both public and private agencies. I needed a change! I was worn out and the creative juices had stopped flowing. This is my eleventh year of counseling at Leicester Elementary School, and this life-altering new direction has been the best change I ever could have made. Not only do I get to dance, sing, play, and help children learn all day long, but I work with more talented, creative, dedicated teachers and staff than ever before. I invite parents and caregivers to interact with me about what you would like to see in the School Counseling Program!
