Principal - Jennifer Reed 

Hello Fairview families. I am honored to be joining the Fairview team as Principal and am committed to making sure every child at Fairview Elementary has a quality education in a nurturing and caring environment.

I have served Buncombe County Schools in several different capacities. After  graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, I began my career teaching 4th grade at Hominy Valley Elementary.  During that time, I attained a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from WCU as well as National Board Certification. After teaching for seven years, I began working at Glen Arden Elementary as Assistant Principal. During my time at Glen Arden, I completed the requirements for a principal licensure.
 
The following year, I moved into a Curriculum Coach position at Glen Arden and Bell Elementary. Since then, I have been Assistant Principal at Emma Elementary and Fairview Elementary.
