(These are common expectations held throughout Buncombe County. Underlined expectations are a particular focus at Koontz.)
1. Passengers shall observe regular classroom conduct (except for ordinary conversation).
2. Please allow the driver to focus on the road and driving safely.
3. Please keep all parts of the body inside the bus.
4. Please remain seated while the bus is moving.
5. Please keep the bus clean.
6. Please do not use any tobacco products.
7. Please speak in a respectful manner and avoid the use of profanity or inappropriate language.
8. Please help to keep all parts of the bus in good condition.
9. Please keep the bus safe by leaving any dangerous or harmful items at home.
10. Please behave in a safe manner by avoiding physical, verbal or other conflicts of any nature.
11. Please make sure that the bus is safe by refraining from throwing any items on the bus.
12. Please exit the bus only at your designated stop.
13. Please help maintain a clean bus by leaving food or drinks of any kind in their containers.
