The Progressive Education Program serves students with moderate to significant intellectual disabilities. We serve students from all communities in Buncombe County.  Students are served in age appropriate settings  at three sites: Estes Elementary, Valley Springs Middle School, and TC Roberson High School.  All Classrooms teach the Extensions of the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
