Welcome to the Valley Springs Middle School Academically Gifted Program web page!  It is my privilege to work with and learn from our 7th and 8th grade students.

 

My web page contains numerous resources for gifted students and their families.  Curriculum guides show in detail my unit plans for the year, sample itineraries for both the 7th and 8th grade trips are provided, a list of extra-curricular opportunities for gifted students at Valley Springs is available.  You will also find a parent library and a variety of web resources that may help your student reach his or her full potential .  There is also information available for students who are underachieving academically, socially, and/or emotionally.  Finally, the AIG Placement Process is shown in step by step form for those who have questions about becoming part of the AIG program at Valley Springs. 

 

Each Friday afternoon during the school year, I email an AIG newsletter to all parents in my database.  If you would like to receive this newsletter, please email me at keith.buff@bcsemail.org and request that I add you to my list.

 

Parents who are considering enrolling their son or daughter at Valley Springs and would like more information about our AIG program are encouraged to email me at any time during the year; I will respond within two days to your request.
