Welcome to my Classroom Website! Jennifer Rayburn, Chorus Teacher A.C. Reynolds Middle School jennifer.rayburn@bcsemail.org Welcome to the Chorus website! I hope to use this site as a place where you can go to find the current information about what's going on in the Chorus Department. I am a Southwestern Ohio native. I graduated from Miami University-Oxford, Ohio, with a degree in Music Education. After college, I attended The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated with a Masters in Music. After teaching in Kentucky and Florida, I moved to NC in 2001 and have been teaching at ACRMS since that time. I continue to enjoy working with the students at this school!

 

ACRMS Chorus

The following dates are scheduled for our Chorus students at this time:

A BUSY MARCH!!!!!

Thursday-Friday, March 8-9, 2012--All County Chorus. Up to 20 students will be chosen from Reynolds Singers. This year, the event will be held at Asheville First Baptist Church, 5 Oak Street, in downtown Asheville. Students selected will be notified in mid-February.

Tuesday, March 13, 2012 (an Early Release Day)--All-County Music Performance Adjudication Festival. Both 7th & 8th Gr. Reynolds Singers attend. Owen Middle School, 2:00-4:00 pm. More details to come!

Friday, March 16, 2012--8th Gr. Reynolds Singers to Biltmore House. Singers will leave ACRMS around 9:30, and will perform in the Winter Garden around 11:30. Then they will take a guided tour of America's Largest Private Home. Chaperones are needed!  More details will follow.

Friday, March 30, 2012--Music Performance Adjudication (MPA) at Western Carolina University. We'll leave ACRMS at 8:00 am, return around 2:30. This is the Chorus" equivalent of the EOG! Both 7th & 8th Singers will perform. Chaperones needed.

The Reynolds Singers Activity Fee ($40) can be paid later in the year--details to follow!
