SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES AT NBMS

North Buncombe Middle School provides special education services for students who have been determined eligible by the Care Team. Referral, evaluation, identification, and needed services are provided as required by the State of North Carolina and the Individuals with Disabilities Act. Special education services are provided for students within the least restrictive environment as determined by the Care Team. School based special education teachers and therapists provide the required services for the majority of our students.
