Mrs. Kristin Jones, School Counselor, kristin.jones@bcsemail.org, 670.5000 ext. 102--Freshmen Academy Counselor
   

Kristin RhinehartKristin Jones is a former graduate of North Henderson High School.  She received her Bachelor of Arts from Catawba College and her Master of Arts in Education from Western Carolina University.  She hopes to obtain National Board certification soon. 
 
When not at work, Mrs. Jones enjoys riding her horse (Dakota), hiking, camping, listening to bluegrass, and spending time with her two children, Cole and Cora, and her husband, Forrest.

Wes DavisWesley Davis  A native of Glasgow, Kentucky, Mr. Davis earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky.  After completing his degree, he accomplished one of his childhood dreams - thru-hiking the Applachian Trail.  His love for the mountains led him to Appalachian State University where he received his Master of Arts in Professional School Counseling. 

In his spare time, Mr. Davis enjoys participating in a variety of human-powered outdoor sports (i.e. camping, climbing, cycling, paddling, skiing, and fly-fishing) as well as traveling, reading, perfecting culinary concoctions, and spending time with his wife Amy and their dog Elvis.

Mrs. Holly Cattanach, MS, NCC, LPC School Counselor, holly.cattanach@bcsemail.org 670-5000 ext. 124 --helps sophomores, juniors, & seniors with last name G-O; coordinates ACT testing and college scholarships
 
Holly CattanachHolly Cattanach is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and holds a Masters degree in Community Counseling and Master's level licensure in School Counseling. She has eight years experience in school counseling in Haywood County, Asheville City and Buncombe County schools and has been employed with Mission Hospitals as an emergency mental health clinician. She is a Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Counselor and has traveled nationally as a crisis responder. Mrs. Cattanach also has teacher certification in English and social studies. When not at work, she enjoys dancing, reading, live music, and spending time with her husband, Bart.

Derwin WilliamsDerwin Williams started his career in college admissions, working in both private and public settings at Brevard College and UNC Asheville. 
 
His professional accomplishments include being named "High School Counselor of the Year" in Henderson County and being a two-year member of the "Carolina Counselor Advisory Team", a select group of high school counselors who advise the admissions staff of UNC Chapel Hill on admissions programs and procedures.
 
One of Mr. William's favorite places to be other than western North Carolina is Girdwood, Alaska.  He and his wife Nancy have two sons; Dakota and Montana.

Donna HyattDonna Hyatt is a 1982 graduate from Enka High.  She married Kemmy Hyatt, who also graduated in 1982.  Donna started working at EHS in November of 1987 as a teacher assistant.  In 1988, she moved to the receptionist position until taking on the job of Counseling Secretary in 2010.
 
She and her husband have 3 daughters, Katie and Kirstie who are also EHS graduates, and Karley who in the Enka Class of 2014. Mrs. Hyatt enjoyed watching her older girls play sports at Enka and looks forward to watching Karley as well. 
 
Mrs. Hyatt is involved in the Athletic Boosters Club and enjoys attending athletic and school sponsored events.  Outside of school, she likes riding with her husband on their motorcycle, and enjoying a "girls night out" with her friends from high school.  (Yes, she still hangs out!)
