Woodfin Elementary School Parent Involvement Policy
At Woodfin School, we will follow all Federal laws and guidelines each year. An annual meeting will be held to inform all parents about Title I and their right to be involved. Parent meetings and conferences will be scheduled at flexible times. Parents will be involved in planning and reviewing our parent policy and School Improvement Plan. Information about our curriculum, assessments, and proficiency levels will be provided to parents in a timely manner, and assistance in understanding these topics will be given.
Each year, parents, teachers, and students will read and sign individual Home School Compacts. We will provide parents with materials and training to help their children achieve, and we will build our parent involvement capacity by educating staff members on the value of parent involvement.
