Mr. Hathaway


The 2012-2013 school year is Mr. Hathaway's third year as principal of The Clyde A. Erwin Middle School. Before that he was assistant principal for four years. He is a National Board Certified ELA teacher with two years experience teaching in the Peace Corps, one year teaching in Roberson County, NC and five years at Enka Middle School. He attended the University of Connecticut, Eastern Michigan University and Western Carolina University. He is also talent manager and lead singer of the band Leicester Steam Roller which has proudly performed good old rock n roll music at PBIS talent shows two years running.
