Education:

I look forward to beginning another year at AC Reynolds High School.  Whether in the classroom, on a field or court, or on stage, we will strive for excellence at our school.  I stand firm in believing that students deserve the opportunity to be proud of their school and wear the ACR emblem with pride. 

I am pleased to announce that AC Reynolds High School is a 2011-2012 School of Distinction with the highest composite EOC score among the Buncombe County High Schools and having met all 19 target goals.  We are also recognized within the top 5 high schools in North Carolina according to the US News and World Report for high schools in 2011-2012.  We have a high graduation rate and have developed an at risk student support program utilizing our staff, support staff, and community resources in order to continue to strive to keep all of our students successful in school. 

We are a school with a strong sense of community on our campus and receive support from our community in numerous ways.  All ACRHS stakeholders take great pride in our school and put students first in making decisions.  A complete sense of community exists in BIG GREEN COUNTRY!
