In results recently released by The College Board, Buncombe County Schools’ (BCS) Class of 2014 boasted an SAT composite score of 1543, which is 60 points higher than the North Carolina average and 46 points higher than the National average. Regular meetings of the Buncombe County Board of Education are videotaped and archived on the BCS District Website, usually available to watch the following day. They will also be shown during the following month on Education Cable Channel 188 on Charter Cable.
This opportunity is part of the district’s Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) agreement and will provide students with a tool for learning at home using the most current, universally accepted platforms in the marketplace today.
