Hundreds of area residents took the opportunity to pick up special drop-off bags at Ingles, put their unused, unnecessary medications in them, and drop them off at BCS middle and high schools. 153 pounds of pills were collected at the one-day event June 1st, pills that will NOT find their way into the hands of young people this summer.
