School Advisory Council

Advisory Council
 
The elementary school Advisory Council is made up of the PTA President, one teacher elected by the school's teachers, and at least three lay people appointed by the Board of Education (parents), with the school principal serving as an ex-officio member.  The group meets to share information from the community that might assist in evaluating existing programs, addressing current issues, establishing new directions, securing community support, and assisting in the improvement of communication.
 
The Advisory Council has 4 scheduled meetings each year.  More meetings may be scheduled as needed.
