ACT coming in March for 11th graders

All 11th grade students will be required by the state to take the ACT beginning in March 2012. This assessment will provide students with an opportunity to examine and prepare for life after high school.

Intermediate Schools Opening Soon!

If the weather, construction and inspections stay on track going forward, Joe P. Eblen Intermediate should open on December 19, with Charles T. Koontz Intermediate to follow on January 9. We hope! See additional information, including dates for student and parent tours, here.

ACRHS Star Performances at Theatre Festival

The ACRHS Drama Department won recognition for their script "What Good is a Lady" and student Sarah Tucker won acclaim for her acting ability.

2012-13 Academic Year Calendar Approved by Board

Next year's school calendar will include 185 student days and five fewer teacher workdays, per the General Assembly's vote last summer.

PEP Library Named for Student

Meryl Snyder was a lovely young woman whose degenerative disease took her life, but not her spirit. The library at the Progressive Education Program will be dedicated to her memory on November 9, 2011.
