My name is Wayne Hamlin. I have been teaching for 18 years now. I attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) as a NC Teaching Fellow for undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Physics, and am now working on graduate studies through NC State University and ORAU (Oak Ridge Associated Universities) through the Department of Energy Academy Creating Teacher Scientists (DOE-ACTS) Program. Formerly I taught at Olympic High School in Charlotte, NC, at North Buncombe High School in Weaverville, NC, and have been at TC Roberson since the fall of 2005. I am an NBPTS (National Board for Professional Teaching Standards) certified physics teacher.
