  My Life  
 
     I am married to a wonderful man and have three beautiful children that keep me on my toes.  In my eleven years in teaching, my experience has ranged from third through fifth grades.
    We have a wonderful staff and your child is fortunate to be here where so many care. 
 
My Bucket-Filling Classroom
 
     I passionately promote an environment of safety, trust, and respect in my classroom. Come in and see how we build character, teamwork, and community every single day. 
     We use the Bucket Filler approach based on the  popular book Have You Filled A Bucket Today? to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for us to learn and show growth.
 
My Teaching
 
     We become reflective thinkers in our learning journals called Daybooks.  We reflect on what we have learned or are still confused about. We become inspired and create goals and then plans on how to achieve those goals.
      On the first day of school, each of us takes a pledge to take charge of our learning not just for this year, but for life!
