    Hello, My name is Jonathan Hintz and I teach third grade here at Haw Creek. This is currently my sixth year teaching third grade and my ninth year teaching overall. Prior to teaching third grade, I taught second grade for three years here at Haw Creek. 
     I am a graduate of UNC-Greensboro with a degree in elementary education and I hold a Kindergarten through sixth grade license. I am happily married to my wife Tara who also works in education. We have one cat, Ditter, that acts like more like a dog!
  
     I believe that all students learn when they are able to connect with the material that they are being taught to create a learning experience to help them grow. In my classroom, students will be exposed to a variety of learning activities in order to reach all learning styles.
