       Greetings……from Second Grade
     I feel blessed to have your child in my class and look forward to a rewarding year full of educational wonders! Many new concepts are about to explode and will play an important role in your child’s life. Second grade is such an important year. More independent work is expected as well as lots of small groups discussions. Students are discovering many things about the world around them. They know that their questions, beliefs, and ideas are valued and appreciated.
     This is my thirty-fourth year of teaching and my nineteenth year here at NBES. I have taught second through seventh grades, with fourth, third and second grades making my years here. Whichever grade I find myself to be teaching is my favorite place to be. I love teaching!
