Welcome to the 1st grade!!!  My name is Dana Anderson and this will be my 9th year teaching at West Buncombe Elementary. I am an Asheville native and attended West Buncombe Kindergarten-5th grade!!  I then graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School.  I received my bachelor of science in Elementary Education K-6 from Appalachian State University in 2004.  I taught Kindergarten for two years, 3rd grade for five years, and this is my second year teaching 1st grade!  My husband and I have two sweet boys: Mac (4 years) and Andrew (5 months)!  First grade is an exciting year filled with many fun educational activities!
