Welcome!
Mr. Brian Gonzales
Clyde A Erwin High School

Born in Jacksonville, FL - Go Gators!
Graduated from Enka High School in 2000.
Attended Lenior-Rhyne College on a soccer scholarship.
Graduated from Appalachian State University in 2004: B.S. in Political Science as well as receiving my teaching certificate from ASU and was designated an honorary student teacher from North Carolina.

I have been married to my beautiful wife Emily since 2004 and we have two wonderful baby girls named Elise and Lila.

Before Elise was born my wife and I spent our summers exploring this wonderful country - going on two cross country trips and logging over 10,000 driving miles! Why do I point this out? Because I teach AP US Government and Civics here at this school and in order to fully realize how special this country is-even with our problems- it is important to explore it- and I encourage you to as well!
