At BI-LO, we are committed to giving back to the communities that our customers call home. That’s why we are proud to offer the Hometown Educational Rewards program. Through this program, we are able to directly impact local children’s education by providing schools with FREE equipment and supplies.
March 2 Success provides materials needed to help improve scores on standardized tests such as state exit exams, SAT, ACT, and ASVAB. If you're an educator, parent, or mentor interested in helping a young person succeed, referring them to March 2 Success may be the best thing you've ever done for them.
The mission of Career and Technical Education (CTE) in North Carolina is to empower students for effective participation in the international economy as world-class workers and citizens. CTE programs are designed to contribute to the broad educational achievement of students, including basic skills, as well as their ability to work independently and as part of a team, think creatively and solve problems, and utilize technology in the thinking and problem- solving process.
On September 2, 2015, teachers, parents, community members, and students gathered for a public forum at Erwin High School to address the inappropriate display of students’ class project posters reflecting a variety of contemporary political topics, including immigration-related views.
